Prompt Mortgage Company

High Value

In High value, as the name suggests, the loan value is high relative to the property value being used as collateral. The loan value generally exceeds 80% of the property’s value. This calculation is known as loan to value (LTV) ratio, it is a risk assessment of the loan amount which needs to be done before we approve your loan. In order to protect the lender, high value home loans need a separate insurance named Private Mortgage Insurance, which the borrower has to purchase.
